9/26: Stomp Thru the Swamp 5k at F. Burton Smith Regional Park. View wildlife while trudging through the bushes and mud. The cost is $10.00 for the 5K and $5 for the 3K. Proceeds benefit Brevard County Parks and Recreation Youth Programs and the Central Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America. 9/19: First Annual Pirates on the Beach Pub Crawl
Avast me hardies! Drink and be merry, for a portion of each pub crawl ticket goes to EARTH Awareness. Dress as a pirate or just talk like one. Pub Crawl begins at 7pm at the Beach Shack at Minuteman Causeway and ends at midnight. Each ticket cost $15 and entitles the bearer five drinks. 9/12: 2015 Turtle Krawl 5k Run/Walk at Nance Park. This is the largest 5k race in Brevard County and proceeds benefit the Sea Turtle Preservation Society.
